Procedure
- Fill a jar about one third with dried leafy tops and pour honey over them.
- Close and macerate 2–3 weeks, then strain through cloth.
- If you collect your own plant material, identify the species very carefully.

Maceration takes weeks.
Why it works
Maceration in honey releases aromatics and part of the polar compounds gradually; the concentration is variable and does not match standardised extracts.
