Procedure
- Fill a jar about one third with dried petals (fresh flowers must be well dried to avoid mould).
- Cover at room temperature with good plant oil (e.g. olive or sunflower) so plant material stays submerged.
- Macerate 3–6 weeks in a warm shady spot, shaking occasionally; strain through cloth and store in glass away from light.
