Procedure

  1. Chop dried root finely (or use quality cut root from a supplier).
  2. Fill the jar one quarter to one third and cover with about 40–50 % spirit so material stays submerged by a finger.
  3. Close, label with date, macerate 4–6 weeks in the dark and shake daily; strain through cloth and store in glass.
