Procedure

  1. Collect flower heads before seeds are fully ripe, rinse briefly, and air-dry a little.
  2. Fill the jar roughly one quarter with flowers and cover with honey; if honey is set, warm it in a water bath.
  3. Macerate 3–4 weeks, then strain — handle seeds separately if you use them for another preparation.
