Procedure
- Fill a jar about one third with dried leafy tops and pour honey over them.
- Press gently with a spoon, close, and macerate 2–3 weeks in a warm shady place.
- Strain through cloth; harvest only with confident species identification.

Notes
Maceration takes weeks; do not confuse with other dead-nettles.
Why it works
Maceration in honey releases aromatics and part of the polar compounds gradually; the concentration is variable and does not match standardised extracts.
