Why it works
The HMPC monograph on dandelion "radix cum herba" covers a broader drug material than leaf-only tea, but it is the closest European regulatory context for a polar extract from above-ground dandelion parts. Bitter sesquiterpene fractions increase with steeping time and temperature.
Literature
- EMA HMPC — Taraxacum officinalis, radix cum herba — Paralela k nadzemní části; listový čaj není totéž co preparát z dokumentu.
